The unnamed Announcer can be heard and announces events happening while a game is being played. Down below are some examples.
Cities
- Previously, the game announcer said: "City taken!" in the older versions of the game when a city is acquired, but was removed when the Cursed City update came.
- When landing on an opponent's property, and when you have a takeover certificate, the announcer will notice the player and say "You can take your opponent's property." If stolen, the announcer will then say "City stolen!"
- When betting cities, the following is said from the Announcer if betted:
- "You just wait and see!"
- "Come on, I dare you!"
- "I got you now!"
- When passing Start, the announcer says "Cities leveled up!"
- On older maps, the vaction spots require earning another vacation spot to level up. This will go in this order:
- "Vacation spot taken."
- "2 vacation spots taken. Toll Fee increased."
- "3 vacation spots taken. Toll Fee increased."
- "ALL VACATION SPOTS TAKEN!!! Toll Fee increased!!"
Fortune and Misery Road
- Fortune Road:
- Lottery Won!: "Woohoo! Won lottery!"
- Takeover Item: "Takeover certificate obtained!" (If takeover certificate reaches 3/full, it results in "You cannot receive anymore.")
- Conquer City: Previously said "Empty city acquired!" but was removed at some point. (If there are no empty cities, the announcer says: "There are no empty cities.")
- Go to START: "Run, run!"
- Steal City: "I made it! Steal city!" (If an opponent has no cities, the announcer will speak an unknown line.)
- Salute: "Ahahaha! Let’s party!"
- Warp Zone (The Lost City): "Where are we going?"
- Misery Road:
- Move to TAX: "Aw, TAX Day."
- Donation Angel: "Making donation."
- Tornado: "TORNADO!" (If an opponent has no properties, the announcer says: "Phew! There are no opponent cities to land on.")
- Pandora's Box: "You should be careful."
Paying for property, tax, jail, etc.
- If the Joy being paid is at a small amount, if the Joy is being paid from an opponent, the announcer will say: "Yes!" If you or a teammate does this, the announcer will sigh in sadness.
- If the Joy being paid is at a medium amount, the following is said from the Announcer if the opponent pays:
- "Kong (Good in Japanese?)!"
- "Lucky!"
- If this applies to a teammate or yourself:
- "My, my!"
- "*whine*"
- "No!"
- If a large amount of Joy is being paid from the opponent, the announcer will laugh very hard, but if a teammate or yourself does this (or the opponent receives a huge amount of money), the announcer will shout "Aw, no way!"
Skill Cards
- When skill cards about to be drawn, the announcer says: "Skill card coming up next turn." This is followed by: "Skill card recieved!"
